Helsinki, 11.6.2026 — Koite Health, the Finnish oral-health technology company behind Lumoral, and Unident, one of the Nordic region’s leading dental distribution, technology and services companies, today announced a collaboration to make Lumoral’s light-activated, home-use preventive care available to dental professionals and their patients across the Nordic market.

Through Unident’s established relationships with dental clinics and its distribution, education and support capabilities, the collaboration aims to bring Lumoral closer to the professionals who guide everyday oral care. Lumoral complements Unident’s existing dental offering by adding a preventive solution that clinics can recommend as part of structured care, extending support to patients between clinic visits.
What the collaboration delivers
For clinics, Lumoral offers a way to extend care beyond the treatment room through a repeatable, home-use protocol that can be built into preventive pathways — including implant, periodontal and other high-risk dental care.
For patients, the collaboration is intended to improve access to structured preventive care and to support better long-term oral-health maintenance, particularly for those who need stronger support between appointments.
For the Nordic dental market, Unident’s reach across clinics provides a scalable route to introduce Lumoral as part of professional, clinic-led prevention rather than only through consumer channels.
A clinic-led model for Koite Health
The collaboration supports Koite Health’s strategic shift toward a clinic-led B2B model, in which Lumoral is introduced as part of structured preventive care recommended by dental professionals. Unident provides a scalable channel to reach more clinics and patients across the Nordic region, supporting recurring use of Lumoral and the accompanying Lumorinse solution.
